Who we are:

We are a volunteer run organization of individuals and local and statewide organizations that demands that public pensions in New York stop funding climate destruction and divest from fossil fuels.

We led the successful campaigns to get, the City of New York and the State of New York to commit to divest. Currently we are working to get Comptroller DiNapoli to fulfill his promise to divest the NYS Common Retirement Fund and to provide a fossil free alternative for New York's 529 college savings plan. We are working with teachers and students to demand that the NYS Teacher's Retirement System divest.
